Written translations are very common these days. Our recruiters seek professionals in various fields — lawyers, medical workers, engineers. Our team also includes marketing experts and even several chemists. At Task Force, we believe that one is as good as none, and our main task is to select the best fitting team for every project. This is 90% of success.
Any translation must be reviewed by an expert who has a profound understanding of a relevant topic. And since legal or medical reviewers do not give much consideration to commas, the translation is subsequently checked by a proofreader. This is a specially trained person who had studied grammar, punctuation, and the history of languages for five years. This is how we work, guided by International Translation Standard ISO 17100.
We want our customers to have a choice regarding the terms of the translation assignment and its cost. Therefore, we offer several options and recommend the one which, in our opinion, is the most appropriate.

Written translation is one of the most demanded on the global translation market. The quality of translation is measured by the number of verifications of text. According to the international standard ISO 17100, the text passes at least three levels of quality control – by a translator, an expert editor and a proofreader. That is why such work / service of text translation takes time. A simplified version of the service, when the translation quality is controlled only by the translator and the editor, takes less time. Accordingly, the price for written translation differs.
The cost
The cost of translating a text varies not only depending on the number of quality control levels, but also on the qualification level of translators, editors and industry professionals who process it. If the translation is technical (for example, a technical project for dredging work), we at Task Force will process it by using a technical translator, a technical editor, an expert engineer and a proofreader. The cost of written translation will in this case be higher due to the involvement of an expert (as opposed to regular translation and regular editing), but the quality will be incomparably higher.
If the text is of a general nature or its translation is required for a formal submission, you may order text translation with editing, but without expert supervision and further proofreading. A professional translator and editor will complete the work quickly, and the cost will be affordable and transparent.
The team
In our Task Force team, we select, test and hire professionals of their craft. The company performs written translations through the efforts of professional translators and editors who have received linguistic education in Ukraine and abroad. Ukraine is the homeland for native speakers of Ukrainian and Russian. Translations into other languages are performed by respective native speakers in our team working all over the globe.
The service of proofreading by an English native speaker is especially popular. The Task Force team includes both Americans and the Britons who possess a range of specializations. We can, with their help, adapt any written translation into English for a native reader and make it authentic. This is especially relevant for those texts that will be published for an English-speaking audience, such as websites, news releases, etc.
Task Force has specially selected a team of marketing experts and PR specialists to process translations and adapt materials to the needs of readers in specific markets.
The tools
Today, the whole world demands both speed and quality from translators. However, even a simple hand-typed text takes time. And what can we say about translation? The speed of a professional translator who specializes in a topic is 8 pages a day. Therefore, for urgent and large-scale projects, we divide the text between a team of translators and editors, and in some cases, we use trained machine translation engines, which enable us to attain the desired speed. Every translation which is performed by our team is either done entirely manually or is manually processed afterwards with the use of artificial intelligence tools (trained machine engines).
Quality control and uniformity of terminology are crucial in large-scale and urgent translation projects. To ensure this, terminologists at Task Force are actively involved in compiling glossaries with terminology for a project, as well as using manual and automatic quality control tools. In addition, before starting work on a large-scale and urgent project, we organize an online meeting with the assigned team, where the project manager and industry expert provide requirements and comments on the coming translation, assist with primary sources and answer questions.
